If you have uncontrolled Type 2 Diabetes, you may be eligible to participate in a research study of an investigational oral medication.

You may qualify for this study if you:
-Are 18 years or older
-Have been told your blood sugar is too high.

If you qualify, you will receive study related care and study medication at no cost.

Type 2 diabetes, also known as adult-onset diabetes, is a chronic condition that affects the way a person's body metabolizes glucose (sugar). A person who suffers from type 2 diabetes resists the effects of, or doesn't produce enough insulin -- a hormone which that regulates the movement of sugar into the body's cells. If left untreated, it can be life-threatening.

According to the American Diabetes Association over 8% of the people in the United States have diagnosed, or undiagnosed, diabetes. Symptoms of Diabetes may include:

⚫ Blurred Vision	⚫ Nausea	⚫ Increased Urination
⚫ Dry Mouth	⚫ Infections that heal slowly	⚫ Pain or numbness in the feet or hands
